Cooks and Cleans Like a Dream!
This Dutch oven is a hardworking beauty with a lovely shine to the classic white finish and easy-to-grab handles. I’m so glad I took a chance on a brand that was previously unknown to me! It would be fun to have more color options, but you can’t go wrong with white - and it’s easy to see how your food is browning and whether you’ve cleaned it properly. Love my Milo!

First Dutch Oven and I'm Hooked
After seeing so many chefs use a Dutch oven on their cooking shows, I decided to get one. I wanted to get "the one with the French name" but I did not want to dole out $350 for one. So I researched and found some lesser price alternatives from brands that begin with a 'C' and one that begins with an 'S'. The 'S' was pricey too but the 'C' was more in my price range. But after reading up on 'C' I decided that I need something that is more up to date and new. Then I looked at some direct-to-consumer brands that just arrived on the scene with their Dutch ovens. I am always cautious to buy anything from a company that does not have a track record. But then I came across Milo, and after reading the reviews and what their customers had to say, I decided it was worth it to get the white wonder. And what a wonder it is! I made some dishes including Meyer lemon risotto that cooked perfectly and was a snap to clean up. I love the minimalist white color; it actually pops, if that can be said for a white object. The Dutch oven has met my high expectations and I can't wait to use it when we host Christmas dinner next month. I expect to have the Milo Dutch oven for years to come and if a larger size becomes available I will get that one, too.
